Revised guidelines for firearms for polar bear protection
The Governor of Svalbard has revised the guidelines for firearms for polar bear protection.

The revised guidelines are a formalization and clarification of previous practice in connection with rules for the use of weapons for polar bear protection.
Among other things, there is clarification on who can use a revolver for polar bear protection, as well as clarifications on the temporary importation of firearms for polar bear protection for foreign citizens.
