80 people evacuated from road 232

There are just over 80 people from 47 apartments who have been evacuated from road 232 due to fire.

Longyearbyen local council has established an evacuee and relatives centre at the Longyearbyen public library, with an entrance from Næringsbygget.

The fire service is still working to extinguish the fire.
