The Governor has given a research institution a fine of NOK 40,000 for having broken the rules in the tourism regulations regarding that research and educational institutions must report to the Governor about planned trips at sea and about the sailing schedule.

On the voyage, the ship went i.a. through Sør-Spitsbergen National Park, Van Mijenfjorden National Park, Forlandet National Park, and Northwest Spitsbergen National Park.
