Travel ban is lifted on Road 100
Based on avalanche expert assessments from NGI, the Governor has decided to lift the travel ban on the upper side of Road 100 today, 7 April, from 12:00 noon.

The decision to lift the ban was made after a meeting between the Governor, the Longyearbyen Local Council, NGI and NVE today.
According to Varsom.no, there is currently danger level 2, moderate avalanche danger, for Nordenskiöld Land.
