Visitors/non-residents are not allowed to drive their own snowmobile in this area, even if they are in company with permanent residents. This applies, for example, for driving to the ice cave at Scott Turner glacier. It is also not allowed to carry out organized snowmobile tours with tourists in this area.
After March 1 there is a ban on snowmobile traffic for all in this area.
